All worn out: non-genuine shot blast machine parts prove a drag on performance and uptime at automotive foundry in Coimbatore.
A Wheelabrator shot blast machine at the reputable foundry in Coimbatore was suffering from frequent breakdowns after the use of locally made, non-original parts had caused excessive wear and damage to the equipment.
The DISA India aftermarket team offered a free trial of original blast wheel blades to benchmark against the non-genuine parts.
The result: an extra 600 hours operation for the original blade set.
